NEWSFLASH: Rainstorm wreaks havoc

The SA Weather Service said a storm broke out in the east of Pretoria resulted in heavy downpours late on Monday.

Residents took to social media shortly after the storm to say that shopping trollies had blown up against cars in the parking, causing major damage.

A Facebooker posted that about 70mm of rain poured down causing damage at a local shopping centre.

Another complained of her roof coming loose.
