Security workers march to Tshwane House

Disgruntled security workers held a marched on Monday morning.

Workers are demanding to be made permanent employees as the various companies they work for and to be paid a living wage.

Protesters assembled at Church Square around 09:00 and marched to Tshwane House in Madiba Street, chanting and singing.

According to reports, the scene was calm and police were monitoring the situation.

The workers have vowed to remain in front of the Tshwane House until Tshwane mayor Solly Msimanga addressed the workers.
