A pedestrian was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle on the corner of Jean and Rabie avenues in Centurion on Monday night.

Best Care spokesperson Xander Loubser said two people in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries.

“The pedestrian was treated at the scene and transported to hospital,” he said.

Loubser said the passenger felt the pedestrian hit the windscreen during the crash. She had broken glass particles in her face from the windscreen.

“She and the driver suffered moderate injuries. The driver had tenderness over his spine,” he said.
