Curro Thatchfield cares

Curro Thatchfield show they care with their Santa Shoe Box project.

This past December Curro Thatchfield Independent School really opened their hearts to a good cause.

The Santa Shoe box Project organisers were extremely excited when they received shoe boxes filled with items such as toiletries, outfits of clothing for boys and girls, stationery, sweets and toys which were collected as part of their Term 4 Outreach Project.

“As usual, our parents’ support was overwhelming and we collected over 500 shoe boxes,” executive head, Marlene Gerber said.

The Santa Shoe Box Project is an initiative formed by the Kidz2Kidz Trust, a non-profit organisation which originated in Cape Town.

To date the Santa Shoe Box Project has distributed 652 180 shoe boxes throughout South Africa and Namibia.
