Little or no new information has come to light about the murder of a former Randburg magistrate in Centurion.

Emmanuel Teffo Myaba (46) was found in his bed with suspected stab wounds.

He appeared to have been killed in a burglary in his Doringkloof home in Karin Street last Wednesday morning.

Investigations were ongoing but no arrests had been made confirmed police.

Police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said police were following leads, but he declined to elaborate.

“We are still awaiting a forensic report to indicate how the man died as the victim had wounds in the upper body,” said Miller.

“Scissors and other blunt objects were found on the scene but police were awaiting the report to paint a clearer picture.”

His domestic worker found him.

His wife Anita had just arrived at work when she was informed of his death.

The couple had a 15-year-old son who was collected from school and informed of his fathers’ death.

A murder docket was opened.
