No storm warning for Centurion, says weather services

No storm warning has been issued for any part of Gauteng, the SA Weather Services have said.

Forecaster Vanepia Phakula said the weather services received inquiries about what a storm forming in the south of Pretoria.

“We’ve been getting calls about the possibility of a storm in Centurion, but that’s not true.”

“We have not issued a watch for a storm in any part of Gauteng.”

Phakula said there was a 30 percent chance of thundershowers across Pretoria on Friday afternoon.

“There will also be a 30 percent chance of thundershowers on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.”

Phakula said there would be a 60 percent chance of showers on Monday.
