Another people’s march on Zuma’s birthday

The second #People’sMarch against President Jacob Zuma will take place in Pretoria on Wednesday.

Opposition parties held a joint press briefing on Monday about the National Day of Action on Wednesday.

The march will start at 09:00 where parties will march from Church Square to the Union Buildings.

The march comes barely a week after the countrywide protests for Zuma to to step down.

This mass action will take place on Zuma’s 75th birthday.

The ACDP, APC, Cope, DA, EFF, IFP and UDM will take part.

Calls for Zuma to vacate the office came a day after a cabinet reshuffle of 10 ministers.

Finance minister Pravin Gordhan was replaced by the minister of home affairs, Malusi Gigaba.
