A car show with a difference was held at Forest Hill city mall in Centurion on Friday.

Scores of car fanatics attended the Sound Off, Show & Shine and Low Limbo youth car show in celebration of Youth day.

The event was hosted by Xzibit Audio, an audio visual equipment supplier; and Iasca SA, a car audio competition organisation.

Attendees were treated to over 200 “pimped out” cars, sound competitions and spot prize giveaways.

“Amid all the adversities facing South Africa at the moment, it was encouraging to see the car show bring the youth and residents of all different races together to celebrate,” said Velero David, of Iasca.

The show offered great entertainment for the youth and residents by providing an array of kiddies’ activities, good food and excellent music by DJ Krezo.

Autozone was on hand with a car accessories stall.

The event was held at the mall’s open parking area from 10:00 until 18:00.
