Cold front in Pta only expected to last one day

The cold front moving over Pretoria on Monday is only expected to last one day, says the SA Weather Services.

“Monday will be the coldest day,” said forecaster Victoria Nurse.

” No cold front is expected for the next seven days.”

Nurse advised Pretorians to stay warm and said temperatures were expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 5°C on Monday.

As the city heated up on Tuesday, temperatures would reach a maximum of 19°C and a minimum of 6°C, she said.

On Wednesday, temperatures would reach a maximum of 22°C and a minimum of 5°C.

Temperatures would reach a high of 23°C and a low of 6°C on Thursday and a maximum of 22°C with a minimum of 6°C on Friday.

Nurse said on Saturday, temperatures would reach a maximum of 21°C and a minimum of 8°C.

No rain was expected.
