Village Montessori learners obtains 100% in mathematics

A Village Montessori School learner managed to attain a remarkable 100 percent pass in mathematics.

The school’s class of 2017 also obtained a 100 percent matric pass rate in the Cambridge International exams.

Thato Modibane, who received a 100 percent pass in mathematics, also got six more distinctions for English home language, Afrikaans second language, French foreign language, physics, chemistry and biology.

For travel and tourism, Modibane scored 76 percent.

She intends to enrol for a health science degree in either medicine, pharmacy or physiotherapy.

Another learner who passed with flying colours was Taahir Mohamed.

Mohamed obtained three distinctions in physics, marine biology and travel and tourism.

In other subjects, Taahir obtained 75 and above for English home language, Afrikaans second language, mathematics and chemistry.

He obtained 70 percent in biology.

Mohamed intends to pursue a career in marine biology – which is his passion and interest.
