NEWSFLASH: Two injured when motorbike crashes into Centurion pedestrian

Two people were injured when a motorbike crashed into a pedestrian on Ruimte Road in Centurion on Tuesday morning.

“When paramedics arrived on the scene, they found a biker lying next to his motorbike in the middle of the road,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

The pedestrian, a man, was found lying some distance away.

Meiring said the biker, who’s in his 20s, sustained numerous injuries.

“He was in a critical condition and was provided with advanced life support interventions before being transported to hospital.

The pedestrian sustained only moderate injuries,” he said.

Meiring said the cause of the crash was unknown.
