Various areas in Soshanguve, Louwlardia and Olievenhoutbosch were without power on Tuesday, the metro confirmed.

“Technicians are on-site busy with repairs and it is estimated that electricity supply will be restored by 22:00 tonight,” said Metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo, referring to the situation in Soshanguve where the following areas were affected:

  • Block CC
  • Block AA
  • Block G
  • Block F

In Centurion, parts of Louwlardia and Olievenhoutsbosch were also without power due to cable theft.
