Wildlife and wine affair at Leriba Hotel and Spa

Leriba Hotel and Spa, Centurion, in partnership with Landbou Weekblad, ABSA, SANParks, SANParks Honorary Rangers, Wild & Jag TV and AgriSA hosted its first annual “A Wildlife and Wine Affair” on 24 and 25 September 2016.

Guests enjoyed a variety of different species of venison, presented tapas-style, by game reserves, hunting farms and eco-tourism properties.

The venison was paired with award-winning wines from 10 top South African wine farms.

Jacquelise de Vries, marketing manager of Leriba Hotel Group said: “The tickets included wine tasting and a braai buffet where guests tasted all the different types of venison complemented by freshly baked breads, salads, vegetables, cheeses and a variety of preserves.”

A percentage of income generated from ticket sales will be donated to the AgriSA Drought Relief Fund to help farmers in need.

Friends and family relaxed and enjoyed a glass of wine and a variety of delicious traditional venison dishes in the gardens of Leriba Hotel and Spa.

The festival was created to celebrate true South African heritage and everything that our beautiful country has to offer.
